Ryan Tung is a Principal in Ryan’s Complex Property Tax practice, based in the Firm’s Vancouver office. He provides strategic property tax consulting services for commercial and residential properties, including complex development sites, industrial facilities, office buildings, retail complexes, and multifamily residential assets. He advises clients on complex property taxation matters with a focus on accuracy, defensibility, and practical outcomes across evolving regulatory environments.

With deep expertise in British Columbia property tax regimes, Ryan regularly advises clients on property tax, additional school tax, empty homes tax, speculation and vacancy tax, and property transfer tax matters. He represents clients through all levels of negotiations and appeals, serving as both an agent and expert witness. Ryan is also an active contributor to the profession, presenting frequently to industry and professional organizations and sharing insight on complex property taxation and development-related tax issues affecting the Canadian real estate market.
