She oversees efforts to attract and hire senior tax leaders, including practice leaders, principals, and directors, while ensuring a consistent and high-quality candidate experience. MaryKay and her team serve as brand ambassadors for the Firm, helping position Ryan as an employer of choice for top tax talent worldwide.
With more than 25 years of executive recruiting and leadership experience, MaryKay brings deep expertise in building and leading high-performing talent acquisition teams. Prior to joining Ryan, she led recruiting and talent acquisition functions for several Fortune 500 organizations across financial services, investment banking, technology, and public accounting. A certified public accountant licensed in Texas, MaryKay combines technical credibility with a disciplined, relationship-driven recruiting approach. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves on the board of the American Cancer Society. Her leadership philosophy centers on partnership, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results through talent strategy.
