With more than 30 years of experience practicing state and local tax law, Mark brings deep technical expertise and authoritative insight to client representation. His background includes senior public-sector leadership as Director of the Hearings Division at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, where he supervised all contested tax assessments statewide. This experience gives Mark a unique perspective on administrative procedures, regulatory expectations, and effective advocacy strategies. He is a frequent speaker on transaction tax and controversy topics and is actively engaged with professional and industry organizations focused on advancing best practices in tax dispute resolution.
