Jeff Arnott is a Principal and Regional Leader in Ryan’s Complex Property Tax practice, based in the Firm’s Ottawa office. He advises clients on some of the most complex commercial property assessment and tax policy matters in Canada, with particular expertise in office and retail valuation. Jeff works closely with owners, investors, and institutional stakeholders to deliver disciplined, defensible strategies that align valuation outcomes with evolving market conditions and regulatory frameworks.

With more than 25 years of experience in property tax, real estate appraisal, and market analysis, Jeff brings a strong blend of technical depth and leadership perspective to client engagements. He has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams through periods of regulatory change and organizational growth, consistently delivering measurable results. Jeff’s background includes public-sector assessment experience, providing him with valuable insight into assessment methodologies, policy interpretation, and appeal processes across jurisdictions.
