Kevin Koziey is a Principal in Ryan’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) practice, based in the Firm’s Winnipeg office. He advises clients across technology-intensive industries on identifying, preparing, and defending SR&ED claims, helping organizations access government incentives while managing technical, financial, and compliance risk.
Kevin brings extensive experience working with complex SR&ED filings across industries including mining, forestry, life sciences, software and IT, agriculture, manufacturing, financial services, insurance, aerospace, and telecommunications. He has significant experience supporting Tax Court of Canada SR&ED matters and navigating challenges related to legislation, policy, and jurisprudence. In addition to client service, Kevin plays a key role in practice management and business development and is a frequent speaker on SR&ED programs, providing practical guidance on funding strategy and process improvement.
