Alex Lundy

Overview

Alex Lundy is a Principal in Ryan’s Research and Development (R&D) practice, based in the Firm’s Media City office, where he leads the delivery of innovation funding services across multiple disciplines. He oversees large, multidisciplinary teams supporting clients with R&D tax credits, grant funding, capital allowances, patent box, land remediation relief, and energy tax relief, helping organizations fund innovation while maintaining compliance.

With more than 15 years of experience leading tax and advisory teams, Alex brings a strong operational and client-focused approach to service delivery. He is responsible for managing more than 100 tax specialists and for building and expanding client relationships across the innovation funding landscape. Prior to joining Ryan, Alex held senior leadership roles within innovation funding and real estate advisory firms, where he drove service-line expansion, doubled revenue over a five-year period, and led large-scale teams delivering consistent, high-quality client outcomes. His leadership emphasizes scalability, accountability, and disciplined execution.
