Damon Chronis serves as President, Americas at Ryan, where he leads the Firm’s service delivery and operational strategy across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. He oversees multiple major practices and thousands of tax professionals, including industry-leading Property Tax, Transaction Tax, and Severance Tax practices. Damon drives alignment across regions to ensure consistent execution, scalable growth, and a client experience defined by clarity, quality, and measurable results in complex tax environments.
With more than 25 years of tax consulting experience, Damon advises Fortune 1000 companies in the air transportation, defense, mining, and oil and gas refining sectors. He continues to actively serve clients through Ryan’s Transaction Tax practice, specializing in state and local sales and use tax and federal excise tax. Damon is known for his practical approach to solving complex tax issues, strong advocacy for clients, and commitment to measurable outcomes. He also contributes to professional development and community engagement through frequent speaking roles and active service with organizations including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County and Young Presidents’ Organization.
