Christopher Jensen is a Principal at Ryan and the Practice Area Leader of the Firm’s abandoned and unclaimed property compliance service line. Based in Dallas, he leads the delivery of unclaimed property compliance services, including state report preparation, due diligence management, statutory and administrative exemption analysis, and state payment preparation. Christopher works closely with clients and Ryan teams to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistent execution across jurisdictions.
With 20 years of unclaimed property experience, Christopher advises organizations across the energy, financial services, health and life sciences, manufacturing, retail, and technology industries. He continues to actively support major corporations with liability quantification, voluntary disclosure initiatives, audit defense strategy development, and the recovery of unclaimed funds. His leadership is grounded in clarity, practicality, and disciplined execution, providing clients with trusted guidance in managing complex unclaimed property obligations. Christopher is also a speaker and published author and maintains an active leadership role within the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization (UPPO), contributing to the profession through long-standing service and recognized achievement.
