Overview

Ryan Fagan is Vice Practice Leader, Property Tax, Technology, and is based in the Firm’s Mississauga office. He leads the technology vision for the Canadian Property Tax practice, driving platform modernization and innovation in alignment with the Firm’s digital-first strategy. Ryan ensures technology is embedded at the core of service delivery to support scalable, digitally enabled property tax solutions.

With extensive experience in property assessment, taxation, and practice leadership, Ryan brings deep insight into both public- and private-sector perspectives. Prior to joining Ryan, he served as Head of Property Tax for Canada at a global real estate services firm, where he led a national property tax division spanning 13 offices and more than 200 professionals. Ryan is also a former Senior Assessor with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, providing him with first-hand knowledge of assessment methodologies, policy interpretation, and appeal processes. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and an active participant in government and industry discussions related to property assessment and taxation in Canada.
