Overview

Robert Wertz is Senior Vice President and Chief Real Estate Officer for Ryan, where he leads the procurement, development, and management of the Firm’s global real estate portfolio and oversees the Firm’s global capabilities centers. He is responsible for all corporate real estate and office services functions, including lease negotiations and administration, design and construction, facilities operations, office services, and the management of supplies and equipment across domestic and international client service locations. Robert focuses on delivering efficient, scalable workplace environments that support Ryan’s growth and enhance the experience of both clients and team members.

With more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale corporate real estate and facilities organizations, Robert brings deep expertise across architectural and engineering design, site selection, major construction, tenant improvements, lease administration, and financial management. A registered professional engineer, he is recognized for combining technical rigor with a collaborative leadership style that drives strong execution and cost discipline. His background spans financial services, energy, and government operations, equipping him to guide complex real estate strategies through periods of growth and transformation while maintaining a strong focus on service, reliability, and long-term value.
