He advises clients on complex multijurisdictional transaction tax matters, delivering disciplined, practical solutions that support compliance, audit defense, and sustainable tax outcomes. Matthew works closely with organizations across the retail, manufacturing, and banking and financial services sectors to navigate evolving sales and use tax requirements with confidence.
With deep experience in transaction tax consulting and practice leadership, Matthew brings a strong technical foundation combined with a collaborative, client-focused approach. He has progressed through multiple leadership roles within Ryan’s Transaction Tax practice and is actively involved in developing talent and advancing technical excellence across the Firm. Matthew is also a frequent speaker for Ryan clients, professional development programs, and external audiences, contributing to education and thought leadership within the transaction tax community.
