Jun Miyake

Jun Miyake is a Principal in Ryan’s Tax Technology Consulting practice, based in the Firm’s London office, where he leads the delivery of international tax technology solutions for multinational organizations. He advises clients on the design, implementation, and optimization of transaction tax automation, helping them improve compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency across complex global environments.

Jun brings deep expertise in deploying tax calculation engines and configuring enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including SAP and Oracle, to support international transaction taxes. He has extensive experience designing reporting and data extraction solutions and transforming value-added tax (VAT) or withholding tax (WHT) controls and processes, including the transition of back-office tax functions to offshore operating models. Jun is a recognized authority in European VAT and customs duties and is a frequent speaker on global tax technology topics, known for translating technical complexity into practical, scalable solutions.
