Clara Kippes serves as a Principal and Vice Practice Leader in Ryan’s Transaction Tax practice, based in the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. She advises Fortune 1000 clients on complex sales and use tax matters, with a primary focus on the retail and manufacturing sectors. Clara works closely with clients to deliver practical, defensible solutions that address audit risk, compliance requirements, and evolving regulatory challenges.

With more than 26 years of experience in sales and use tax consulting, Clara brings deep technical expertise and a strong commitment to professional development. In addition to her client responsibilities, she plays a key leadership role within Ryan’s Transaction Tax practice, supporting technical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives that strengthen service quality across the Firm. Clara is known for her collaborative leadership style, disciplined execution, and focus on delivering consistent value for clients.
