He advises clients on complex indirect tax matters, including goods and services tax (GST) and fuel tax credits, and plays a key role in supporting the management of Ryan’s Australian operations. Chris partners closely with clients to deliver clear, defensible advice that aligns technical tax requirements with commercial realities.
Chris brings deep experience in Australian indirect tax advisory and litigation support, with a particular focus on fuels and excise tax. His background includes senior leadership roles within Ryan and a Big Four firm, where he led national fuel tax advisory practices and managed large teams delivering indirect tax services across Australia. Chris and his team have more than 30 years of collective experience in fuel tax credits and have been involved in all landmark litigation in this area. He is also a frequent speaker for industry organizations, contributing practical insight on indirect tax developments affecting the transport and logistics sectors.
